Tại cuộc họp trực tuyến của Chính phủ về công tác phòng chống COVID-19 chiều 13-4, Chủ tịch UBND TP.HCM Nguyễn Thành Phong cho biết căn cứ vào các quy định pháp luật và đề xuất của Sở Y tế; UBND TP.HCM đã ra quyết định tạm dừng hoạt động của Công ty PouYuen VN từ 0h ngày 14-4 đến hết ngày 15-4-2020.
Theo ông Phong, TP đã tổ chức đoàn công tác đến kiểm tra công tác phòng chống COVID-19 tại Công ty PouYuen VN ghi nhận thấy công ty đã tổ chức đo nhiệt độ, phát khẩu trang cho 100% nhân viên; lắp đặt bồn rửa tay, lập vách ngăn tại nhà ăn.
Tuy nhiên hiện tại công ty này vẫn chưa cắt giảm số lượng nhân viên làm việc theo ca, lượng công nhân ra vào cổng còn tập trung đông, khoảng cách giữa các công nhân chưa đúng quy định trong công tác phòng chống COVID-19.
Theo ông Phong, tình hình dịch bệnh tại TP.HCM dù có phần khả quan nhưng vẫn có nguy cơ cao lây nhiễm trong cộng đồng. Việc tạm dừng hoạt động của Công ty PouYuen VN là cần thiết để đảm bảo sức khỏe cộng đồng cũng như hoạt động của chính công ty.
TTO – Phó thủ tướng Vũ Đức Đam giao UBND TP.HCM xem xét quyết định theo thẩm quyền và quy định hiện hành về công tác phòng chống dịch COVID-19 tại Công ty TNHH PouYuen Việt Nam.
