Ngày 6-4, thông tin tại buổi họp báo thường kỳ của Bộ Thông tin và Truyền thông, ông Nguyễn Phong Nhã, phó cục trưởng Cục Viễn thông, cho biết hiện cả nước có 1,67 triệu thuê bao di động đã bị các nhà mạng khóa một chiều do chưa thực hiện chuẩn hóa thông tin cá nhân với Cơ sở dữ liệu quốc gia về dân cư.
Bộ Thông tin và Truyền thông đã chỉ đạo các doanh nghiệp viễn thông tiếp tục triển khai các giải pháp bảo đảm thuê bao phát triển mới, thuê bao được chuẩn hóa có thông tin thuê bao đúng quy định, đáp ứng mục tiêu tất cả các thuê bao đang hoạt động phải có thông tin thuê bao đầy đủ, chính xác, trùng khớp.
“Đến ngày 15-4, các thuê bao không tiến hành chuẩn hóa thông tin sẽ bị khóa hai chiều. Sau ngày 15-5, nếu các thuê bao này vẫn chưa thực hiện chuẩn hóa thông tin sẽ bị thu hồi số điện thoại di động” – ông Nhã nhấn mạnh.
Chia sẻ tại họp báo, ông Nguyễn Phong Nhã cho biết kể từ ngày 1-4 đến nay, có khoảng 256.000 thuê bao bị khóa một chiều đã đến chuẩn hóa để mở lại dịch vụ.
Cục Viễn thông đánh giá hoạt động chuẩn hóa thông tin thuê bao đã nhận được sự ủng hộ của người dùng. Người sử dụng giờ đây đã ý thức được việc số điện thoại đăng ký thông tin chính chủ là cực kỳ quan trọng.
“Bộ Thông tin và Truyền thông khuyến khích người sử dụng thực hiện việc gửi tin nhắn TTTB tới đầu số 1414 (miễn phí) để tự kiểm tra nhằm kịp thời cập nhật thông tin thuê bao của mình. Sự phối hợp của người dùng sẽ góp phần hạn chế dịch vụ tin nhắn rác, cuộc gọi rác và xây dựng môi trường tiêu dùng thông minh, an toàn” – ông Nguyễn Phong Nhã nói.
31-3 là ngày cuối cùng trong thời gian cho phép người dùng chuẩn hóa thông tin thuê bao di động. Sau thời hạn này, thuê bao đã có tin nhắn yêu cầu nhưng chưa cập nhật sẽ bị chặn chiều gọi đi.
